For several years, Xergy principal Peter May-Ostendorp has been working alongside the team of building energy management and smart grid gurus at QCoefficient to help evolve a sophisticated SaaS optimization platform that turns a building’s existing thermal mass into grid-interactive energy storage. QCo’s thermal energy storage platform was just officially announced as a participant in the GSA’s Green Proving Ground Program for 2014. We are excited to show GSA how they can operate their buildings more intelligently for energy and demand savings and to provide capacity to congested grids in large urban areas.
